Ran into an old friend who brought back floods of memories as sysadmins in college in the late '70s. It was the old PDP-11/40 running in the basement that got me my first real job, my first real PDP-11 (an 11/70 with twin RM05s) and I still remember how to set the switch register to boot from DECtape. I think I still have my old DECUS card somewhere. Thanks so much for the guest access!
