Greetings Guys
Thanks for the email to tell me about the Witch. Have tried the telnet login. Seems to do well, but I agree with the comments about forgetting a lot about the Witch, DEC, the PDP-11, and Basic Version V6C. I will try to pull out some memory and try some of the old games, tricks, and other "fun" activities. At least I got the CHR$ commands to print, but memory fails the sequence or trap ERR sequences.

Hello there, Jay Seay! I see that you have visited the Witch. Thanks for dropping in. Yes, I can tell these things because I have privilege on my own computer. If you feel a bit rusty on things, it is quite understandable. It's been 25 or more years. The Witch User's Guide and other useful documents are available here on this site under the Wofford Witch Documents link. Once you feel that you're up to speed, you can then write a program to use the Monte-Carlo method of calculating the area under a cone. I actually have printouts of those programs.
All joking aside, I do hope that you found the site and the reincarnated Witch interesting. I have only just begun with the web site. I plan to add a lot more stuff. Hopefully the Wofford College Archivist at Sandor Teszler Library will come through with copies of Dr. Olds' newsletters. I'm looking for copies of the CS110/120 homework programming assignments. I should have copies of all the programs in my archives here at home.
Enjoy!

The WITCH has been brought back to life for you by Kevin, the original wizard.
