Tonight I installed the M7846 RX11 controller and a DX (RX01) bootstrap rom for the M9312. I then cabled up the M7846 to the dual RX01 drive unit. It is able to read from both RX01 drives and can boot from them using the mnemonic in the console emulator. That makes four types of drives on the system; 2 RL02s, 3 (2 working) RK05s, one RL01, and two RX01s.
I also added a receptacle to the wall to the right of the racks, just above the racks, so it is easier to unplug the system when necessary.
